While the bar may present a friendly façade, what I discovered behind its doors was shocking and unacceptable on multiple levels .
The State of Affairs: Filthy and Disregarded
From the moment I stepped inside , it was clear that upkeep was not a priority at this venue. The ground was covered in grime , and a nauseating aroma of old alcohol and uncleaned toilets suffused the entire pub. Smelling a mixture of human waste, putrefaction and sickness . The serving zone , which should be the primary feature of any pub, was overflowing with soiled cups and debris that looked like it hadn’t been touched in ages . The bathroom was in even a truly awful state— spilling over , with a cracked flush mechanism and tiles smeared in what I can only assume was human waste .
